My new venture

I looked around for a fitness blog to follow when I first started working out (not hard or extensively but I did look!) and didn't find one that struck my fancy. To that end I decided to start my own. I won't be dispensing advice or breaking new ground. I will be keeping a journal of my progress, posting articles I find of use & anything else fitness related that I feel like posting. I will probably post 3-4 times a week. Spread the word to anyone who you think might be interested in following me or my progress. Thanks!

Band-aids as accessories

One day about 2 weeks ago I was reading a little story on the internet about Carrie Underwood & her use of "Hello Kitty" band-aids to cover a pretty bad scrape on her knee & wearing them with a matching dress on some red carpet or another. I thought it was HILARIOUS when I came out of the kitchen the other morning & found that Lizzie had provided Katy with a similar accessory, although Katy's was STRICTLY for fashion reasons!

On Wednesday the 13th Lizzie started her dance class that was one of her Christmas gifts. Although it is technically a Disney Princess dance class I got her traditional dance clothes. I'm thinking she probably gets to be in come sort of dance class or another from here on out! Anyway, here is Lizzie at home & at class looking adorable!

Last Tuesday, the 12th, Lizzie began preschool! It was high time (in my opinion!) and so far she has LOVED every minute of it. She is in class with a little boy from church & has wasted no time in making other friends. She was telling me the other day that she has lots of friends at school & that she was only a little naughty at snack time! Here are a few pictures of her first day of school.
