About my back
So this is a bo-ring, text only blog...sorry! I just wanted to post a quick update about my back. I am feeling SOOO much better! It has been getting progressively better since my chiropractor adjusted me on Monday, even with doing my mom's daycare the last three days! I haven't made it back to the gym yet but I have a plan to get me there starting on Monday. I am so grateful for my good health & the gifts of healing that Heavenly Father has blessed us with. I am also incredibly grateful for my fantastic husband who has taken care of me & the kids & been super nice & concerned! I really got WAY more blessed then I thought I deserved when I found Mark! Anyway, I am getting a little mushy in my hormone-crazed state so I'll leave it at this, I feel better! YAY!!!!

Little cheerleader girl

So this is just a cute picture of Lizzie wearing her Seattle Seahawks cheerleader dress. She got it from Grandpa Chip & Grandma Dee for Christmas & she LOVES it! She had actually been out playing with some of the kids in the neighborhood with Jay the day we took this picture. She also has some pom poms at Aunt Sarah's house that she likes to play with. It is too cute.
Even though it isn't terribly clear you may notice the tatoo on her right forearm. It was of Boots from "Dora the Explorer" & she was so sad once it started to fade. She likes to tell people about it & how it "went away". TOTALLY cute!
Also, her hair is just starting to get long enough to go into a half pony. Lots of hair won't go up in the back & her cute little curlies in the front stay down too but it IS growing! Slowly, but growing! As far as I can tell, her self hair-cutting phase is behind her as well. Thank GOODNESS!
~31 weeks~

Here it is! Baby belly week 31. From my perspective not much difference but some people I see want me to be having this baby in the next few days. I don't think I look THAT pregnant! On the other hand, I do remember my other pregnancies & I know I am capable of getting MUCH bigger before baby arrives!
I have been FEELING very pregnant this last week. I (somehow) hurt my back last Sunday night & when I woke up Monday morning I could barely move. I have numbness on the bottom of my left foot & the back of my left leg is tight & sore. I've been to the chiropractor twice already & I get to go again this afternoon. I am putting it out there that this will be the last appointment & that I will be back to feeling great again. It has been sad having this pain because it is distracting me from my pregnancy which I am still LOVING!!! I also haven't been able to get to the gym (I can barely walk from my bed to my bathroom, not EXACTLY "workout" ready!). I love my morning workout, it makes the rest of the day go so great!
Anyway, this is week 31 & I wanted to share it with you all!
Sunday, February 22, 2009

I am officially 30 weeks today so I thought it would be fun to post a weekly "countdown" picture. I know that the last 10 weeks or so is when the baby will grow the most & I would like to see just how much bigger my belly can get! I also plan on having Mark take a picture of my belly before we leave for the hospital so that this can be as accurate as possible. The shot on the right is a picture Lizzie took of me this last week, she really loves to take pictures! She looks at the little screen & pushes the silver button. SO easy!
Anyway, check in every Monday (at least!) to keep an eye on my (and baby's) progress!

Lizzie's 3rd Birthday

So these are just a few pictures of Lizzie & her cake from her birthday party last week. It was a really fun time with the family & Lizzie got so many cute new clothes that I don't think she even noticed that she only got a couple new toys. She is such a girlie girl that clothes were a perfect gift! We also got her this really cute Leapfrog movie Rachel has for Ian called the Letter Factory to get her going on learning her letters & the sounds they make. She LOVES watching it & will watch it over and over and over if we let her! She so far has been the most interested in wearing the new clothes that Grandma Dee made her but I think she'll get excited about wearing the stuff Mark & I got her & the TOTALLY cute stuff she got from Aunt Erika, Uncle Ken & her cousins. It was a busy couple weeks getting ready for her party & Mom (me) felt like she went a little overboard but everyone had fun, Lizzie was excited about EVERYTHING we did & no one cried (much!*L*). It kind of makes me excited to have TWO little girl birthday parties to plan next year & grateful that Jalen is happy as long as his party includes pizza & games of some type!
Lizzie Update

Here is a picture of Lizzie on Halloween in her Tinkerbell costume. She had been telling us for WEEKS that she wanted to be a Princess so imagine our surprise when she came home from costume shopping with Aunt Sarah & she had been VERY insistent that she wanted to be Tinkerbell this year. She looked adorable & she still puts on her costume from time to time to play around the house. She says next year she'll be Princess Fiona from Shrek but we'll see what costume strikes her fancy once we actually go shopping!
